Protect the Homeland from North Korean and Iranian Ballistic Missiles Act

Acknowledging the threat of North Korea and Iran to the US, and setting up more defensives for this threat is the entirety of this bill. An amount of $500 million in 2010 will be set aside for the Department of Defense to perform the following:
- A minimum of “40 ground-based interceptors at Fort Greely, Alaska.”
- A minimum of “4 ground-based interceptors at Vandenberg Air Force Base, California.”
- “Such number of ground-based interceptors at such other locations as the President determines appropriate.”
H.R. 2485 was referred to the Committee on Armed Services, and the Committee on Foreign Affairs.
