Military Family Leave Act

If an individual in the military receives orders for either active duty or deployment in connection with a contingency operation, a spouse, son, daughter, or parent of an individual in the military, may take a two week work leave. The employer may chose for the leave to be either paid or unpaid. S. 1441 was referred to the Senate Committee on Health, Education, Labor, and Pensions.
