Distracted Flying Act

Under this bill, members an aircraft flight crew will be prohibited from using wireless devices, such as cellphones and laptops, while on the crew’s station of the flight deck while the aircraft is being operated. The only exception to this rule is the use of wireless devices for the operation of the aircraft or employment related activities. S. 2745 was referred to the Senate Committee on Commerce, Science, and Transportation.
