This bill will prohibit use of open-network peer-to-peer file sharing on all Federal computers and networks, including those contracted through the Federal government. Those agencies requiring an open-network peer-to-peer file sharing network will make a request for approval in government use. H.R. 4098 was referred to the Committee on Oversight and Government Reform.
