This bill will deny pharmaceutical companies from deducting expense relating to the direct consumer advertising, in any media, of prescription pharmaceuticals. Organizations which promote children’s physical activities will have the option to claim a deduction. S. 2873 was referred to the Senate Committee on Finance.
