$75 Million over 3 Years for DNA Samples

Processing the DNA samples of child sex offenders in a faster manner is what this bill proposes. Private forensic laboratories will be used to help those states who wish to participate. The director of the FBI will be given $25 million for the years 2010, 2011, and 2012 to put forth this proposal. H.R. 2462 was referred to the Committee on the Judiciary.
