This bill would preserve an individual’s right to “access lawful content, run lawful applications, and use lawful services of their choice on the Internet.” Internet Service Providers will “not block, interfere with, discriminate against, impair, or degrade the ability of any person to use an Internet access service to access, use, send, post, receive, or offer any lawful content, application, or service through the Internet.” H.R. 3458 was referred to the Committee on Energy and Commerce.

By model year 2011, 50 percent of automobiles for sale in the US will be capable of dual fuel (i.e. using gasoline and ethanol). By model year 2013, 90 percent of these vehicles must be dual fueled. A grant program will be created to aid fuel stations to install blender pumps (able to dispense three different blends of gasoline and ethanol). Between the years 2010 and 2014, $1 billion will be appropriated for grants to fulfill this bill. S. 1627 was referred to the Senate Committee on Commerce, Science, and Transportation.

The Secretary of Treasury will establish the Road User Fee Pilot Project to study different ways of taxing fuels in vehicles. The main focus of the project will be to find ways to record and report ‘the number of miles traveled by particular vehicles.’ A total of $150 million will be given in grants to technology and commercial manufacturers, along with higher learning institutions, to fulfill this project. An amount of $4.5 million will be used for what is deemed necessary. Expanding technology and law enforcement to help in the recovery of missing children is what this bill seeks. The Attorney General will “make an annual grant to the A Child Is Missing Alert and Recovery Center to assist law enforcement agencies in the rapid recovery of missing children, and for other purposes.” A annual amount of $5 million a year from 2010 to 2015 will be given to fulfill this grant. If one owns a solar electric generator which produces less than 5,000 kilowatts, and is used properly, a retail electric supplier will be required to supply you with an energy meter for proper readings. Under this bill, a kilowatt-hour credit may be applied to the electric bill if an excess of electric energy is generated for the billing cycle. For the years 2010-2014, a total of $100 million will be used to create a Center for Advanced Solar Research. Due to the switch of television from analog to digital, gaps were created, and some are unable to received digital tv.
