DTV Cliff Effect Assistance Act

Due to the switch of television from analog to digital, gaps were created, and some are unable to received digital tv. The purpose of this bill is to construct digital television translators to fill those gaps. The Assistant Secretary for Communications and Information of the Department of Commerce will be appropriated $125 million from 2009-2012 to resolve this situation. H.R. 2903 was referred to the Committee on Energy and Commerce.
