Conflict Resolution and Mediation Act

The Secretary of Education will provide grants to educational agencies affected by conflict and violence. Programs for conflict resolution and mediation for students, teachers, and other personnel will be created by the Secretary. An amount of $25 million will be given for this bill in 2010, and any sums deemed necessary between 2011 and 2015. H.R. 4000 was referred to the Committee on Education and Labor.
