A Child Is Missing Alert and Recovery Center Act

Expanding technology and law enforcement to help in the recovery of missing children is what this bill seeks. The Attorney General will “make an annual grant to the A Child Is Missing Alert and Recovery Center to assist law enforcement agencies in the rapid recovery of missing children, and for other purposes.” A annual amount of $5 million a year from 2010 to 2015 will be given to fulfill this grant. S. 1301 was referred to the Senate Committee on the Judiciary.
